Painted, probably by William Powell, but unsigned, with titled bird studies, Wren, Bluetit, Robin, Thrush, Godfinch and Blackbird, puce printed marks, date codes for 1906, 1907 and 1908, 12.75cm diameter; aslo a Royal Worcester moulded cup and saucer painted with birds, date code for 1900, saucer 12cm diameter
The goldfinch plate has two small rim chips and two haircracks to the rim, each approx 2cm length.…
