The architectural case with chamfered pediment surmounted by an urn and flame finials, above the 8 in. arched brass dial with subsidiaries for regulation and Chime/Silent, flanked by panelled pilasters, on a stepped base, the three train chain fusée movement stamped W & H SCH and numbered 2669, chiming and striking on blued steel coiled gongs
