Both with winding keys, which could be associated. We can not offer any guarantee of the working order of these clocks or that they keep good time. However, they are ticking at present. They will need to be check and the movement serviced by a specialist clock person.
The lacquering to the brass cases are slightly worn, rubbed and tarnished in areas, like the carrying handles with a speckling to the top of the Mappin & Webb example. See extra images.
