In the Louis XVI style modelled with a pair of water-spouting dolphins, flanking an urn with ribbon-tied oak and foliate scroll mounts around the dial, on a stepped ormolu and porcelain stepped circular foot, the 3 1/2in white enamel dial with pierced hands, with a drum-shaped movement, platform lever escapement with countwheel strike on a bell, 43cm high

CONDITION REPORT

With a steel key.  The clock case is dirty and requires a clean.  The movement strikes but doesn’t tick.  It requires a service.  The dial enamel is chipped to the left winding hole and to its left side.
