A two-page autograph letter, dated 31 Oct. 1837, written in a 'Sütterlin' script, addressed (probably) to Carl August Krebs, Court Kapellmeister, referring to a recent performance of 'Fidelio', in particular to the number of trombones in the performance. The sender's signature is illegible (some repairs not affecting letters).
