JONSON, Ben (1572-1637).  Bartholomew Fayre: A Comedie, Acted in the Yeare, 1614. By Elizabeths [sic] Servants. And then dedicated to King James, of most Blessed Memorie. London: Printed by I. B. for Robert Allot, 1631. Folio bound in 4s (280 x 185mm). Woodcut headpieces and initials, the text of the play itself paginated 1-88 (D3 with long tear without loss, some spotting and staining). Old upper wrapper. The play is preceded by a general title, "The Workes of Benjamin Jonson. The Second Volume. Containing these Playes, Viz. 1. Bartholomew Fayre. 2. The Staple of Newes. 3. The Divell is an Asse. [woodcut device] London, for Richard Meighen, 1640", but only "Bartholomew Fayre" is here included.
