With deeply curved blade showing a pattern-welded construction, polished brass cross-guard, and characteristic pistol-grip hilt of horn or horn-effect composite, with inset eyelet and overall patina from age. In a brass-mounted leather-covered scabbard, overall length 91cm

Condition report; Handle cracked and repaired. Scabbard in general good condition old marks and scratches consistent with age and use. Blade has been re-polished resulting in loss of engraving. No major loss/ damage or faults.
