With broad curved single-edged blade showing patina and light pitting, plain back edge and clipped point; cast brass hilt with stylised crossguard, and integral grip terminating in a lion-head pommel with a mane wrap, in its original black leather-covered wooden scabbard with remnants of leather surface and iron mounts, overall length 85cm
