Condition Report
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface has a slightly discoloured varnish but otherwise sound. Ultraviolet reveals flecks of fine retouching to the stable wall, some further to the horse and to frame abrasions off the lower border. Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
