The bevelled mirror plate is a replacement, which has been installed or a little time.  Later backboards. Dirt and dust to the plate with a few blemishes.

The frame with some wear and tear, minor light cracks and rubbing to the gilding.

The reverse with a label remains, ink inscribed with date ‘1917’ .

Numerous old holes from previous hanging.

Very small odd worm hole to the back board and possible to the back o frame.

Two pairs of circular marks to bottom edge on the plain cartouche shaped areas, possibly indicating the mirror once was fitted with candle sconces.
