Condition report:
The bevelled mirror plate is a replacement, which has been installed or a little time. Later backboards. Dirt and dust to the plate with a few blemishes.
The frame with some wear and tear, minor light cracks and rubbing to the gilding.
The reverse with a label remains, ink inscribed with date ‘1917’ .
Numerous old holes from previous hanging.
Very small odd worm hole to the back board and possible to the back o frame.
Two pairs of circular marks to bottom edge on the plain cartouche shaped areas, possibly indicating the mirror once was fitted with candle sconces.
