PROVENANCE:

Property From the Collection of the Late Simon and Pamela Majaro

Condition report:

There are a number of red pieces that have been restrained at some point and the staining is a little brighter in contrast. The flags could be associated as they are so easily lost and replacements married up, one flag is actually shorter and more discoloured. One of the red side’s  horses’ heads has been re-glued and the other should screw off but is a little jammed. All the parts are screwed together and should come apart, although the restained pieces don’t appear to. See extra images.

Generally there are the inevitable scuffs, scratches, together with the odd very small chip to the edges and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
