The hood with swan-neck pediment and two pierced fret panels, above arched glazed panel door, between fluted Corinthian columns, the trunk inset with an arched door between fluted and stopped quarter-columns, on canted plinth base and ogee bracket feet; the 12 ¾ in. arched brass dial, signed to a demi-ring in the arch, above moonphase, with cherub spandrels and silvered chapter ring, enclosing a matted centre and seconds subsidiary, with calendar aperture, the twin train movement with anchor escapement, and strike on a bell

This handsome clock will require some sympathetic restoration.  The case overall is in good condition considering its age.  There are some small veneer losses, see images, and a vertical crack to the base on the far right side.

The movement is very dirty and will require a full service.  The hammer arbour back pivot is broken and the hammer arm detached.  

The dial is tarnished and the second hand lost.
