The case with brass pineapple finial above gadrooned chamfered and stepped top, the front lightly decorated with brass inlay and lines, centred with a convex glazed bezel, the sides each with a ring handle above rectangular tracery panels, on a moulded base with ball feet, the 8 in. painted dial, signed, with blued steel pierced moon hands, the signed twin train wire gut fusée movement with rectangular plates, anchor escapement and pendulum locking block, together with a modern bracket

The clock is in good original condition. The movement is clean and appears well maintained. It strikes and ticks. The dial has been repainted.
