This Reeves and Sons trade label is recorded to be in use after 1827 when W.J. Reeve died and another son joined the business.
Condition report:
Both with wear and tear, inevitable scuffs, scrathes, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with use and age.
Many colours lacking and used.
Frieze drawers to both with wear to handles. The Reeves frieze drawer will not open.
The Reeves box with a ceramic glazed paint colour mixing tray and further label to the base of the box. Also with a key.
