The hood with an ogee pediment and two brass finials, above fluted columns, between the arched glazed dial door, with glazed sides, the trunk inset with an arched panel door, above panelled base and stepped wavy plinth, the 12in arched brass dial, with strike/silent above silvered chapter ring enclosing foliate-engraved silvered centre signed Benj Maude, London, with recessed seconds dial and calendar sector, the twin train movement with rack strike on a bell and anchor escapement,  the dial/movement and case associated

CONDITION REPORT
Brass bob and flat brass rod pendulum, one winding crank two brass-cased weights.  The case is in good condition .  Some marks and knocks commensurate with age,  The left-hand concave moulding above the base is loose and present.  The right-hand foot has been repaired.  The dial retains an old unrestored patina.  The movement appears clean and serviced fairly recently.
