The hood with an ogee pediment and three brass finials, above arched glazed dial clock, flanked to each side by a fluted column and a fret panel, the trunk with a quarter-cut stop-fluted column between the arched panel door, panelled base and stepped wavy plinth; the associated 12in white enamelled arched dial signed Chaplin’s, Bury, with moon phase to the arch above seconds subsidiary and calendar sector, pierced blued steel hands, the twin train rack striking movement with anchor escapement and strike on a bell, dial/movement and case associated

CONDITION REPORT
As stated, the dial/movement and case are associated.  The movement appears to have been recently maintained and might require a service.  The dial is in original condition but there is wear to the chapters.  The case is in good condition, some marks and knocks commensurate with age.  A small length of moulding just above the left side of the base is loose but present.  Two lead weights.  Heavy brass bob and flat steel rod pendulum.
