late 20th century in date, sphinx itself in good overall condition with the base having scratches where the figure sits, and some minor small scuffs/chips around the base, decorated panels to the base are loose.
sphinx lifts off the base, the figure itself is very heavy with an approximate weight of 80-100kgs
