With arched fluted hood, glazed door flanked by gilt-metal spiral columns, the trunk flanked by columns with bone escutcheon, the 13in painted dial, with moonphase, above pierced, pierced brass hands, the twin train movement with countwheel strike on a bell, pendulum and two weights, 228.5cm high

Condition report:
The case with numerous repairs and later additions including the ball finials, the gilt metal capitals cleaned possibly relacquered and overall polished. Other inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.
Notably the door slightly bowed.
The dial with repaired minute hand, solder join to hand.
The painting to the dial has been refreshed in some areas. The detail to the two sphere shapes to the dial is rubbed.
The movement will require cleaning, some old oil to the back plate which needs cleaning. The movement is capable of working but requires a full service by a qualified clock restorer.
