A GOLD, SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND OVAL CLUSTER RING

Claw set with the oval cut sapphire in a surround of fourteen cushion shaped diamonds, between diamond single stone shoulders, detailed 750, ring size P and a half, gross weight 16.5 gms, with a GCS Sapphire Report stating the oval cut sapphire to weigh 18.75 ct, to have no indications of heating and to be natural corundum

Condition Report: The sapphire is in good condition, the surrounding diamonds are old cut cushion shaped stones, with slight variation of colour, but most are drawing colour and have a few internal inclusions, in one or two cases, these are surface reaching inclusions, the shoulder diamonds are of differing cuts, one being a modern circular cut brilliant, the ring is in generally good condition. Size of top of ring 25mm by 21.5mm. The claws are showing signs of wear, one claw looks as though it has the beginnings of a haircrack. There is some slight irregularity to the size of the the ends of the claws.
