The diamonds look to be attractive clear white stones, with one or two internal inclusions, there is overall damage to the enamel work, particularly to the bird of paradise and to the figure of Eve. Although the Fruhauf mark is detailed 750, the pendant itself tests as silver gilt. Some loss of green enamel to the gilt chain, there is no mark to the clasp
The two matching earrings that were originally with the pendant are not included in the sale. The interior of the base of the case is not specifically fitted to take the earrings and is of a rather general nature, not specifically recessed to take the pendant. One of the folding catches is missing, the other folding catch is bent, the material to the corners of the case is rather worn. Case size 21.5cm by 19.8cm
