Original vellum-backed paper boards, the upper cover and spine lettered in gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut (some staining mainly to the upper cover, corners rubbed and bumped). FIRST EDITION. NUMBER 166 OF 380 COPIES SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. The venerable Sussex inns illustrated in colour in Cecil Aldin's attractive plates are The Spread Eagle, Midhurst, The Star, Alfriston and The Mermaid, Rye.
