Contemporary black half calf, spine gilt with red morocco lettering-piece (heavily rubbed and scuffed, corners worn, front free endpaper brown and spotted). Provenance: Mr Floyer Cornish, June 1st 1847 & Arthur Marshall (old signatures on front free endpaper). William Floyer Cornish (1769-1858) was Rector of Hooke, Dorset, from 1827 until his death.
