Half title, chromolithographed frontispiece, title printed in red and blue, 14 chromolithographed plates including one for each month (some light mainly marginal spotting and staining). FINELY BOUND in contemporary dark blue crushed morocco gilt by Zaehnsdorf, the covers with elaborate floral cornerpieces and central crowned floral device, the spine gilt in 6 compartments, gilt edges, foliate endpapers (inner upper hinges broken, joints and corners rubbed). Provenance: a few birthdays added in early manuscript.
