The case of shaped outline and surmounted by a berried twin-handled urn, above downswept sides with scrolling foliate mounts, decorated all over with golden carp on a lattice-work background, the 8in convex white enamel dial detailed Le Roy A Paris, with pierced gilt latten hands, above a glazed aperture for the pendulum, each side with a blue silk-backed pierced brass panel, on scrolled stepped feet, the case stamped once to the reverse B. LIE*TAUD (rear lower right), the twin train square-shaped movement striking the hours on two bells and the half on a single bell, with Swiss-style visible strike work to the backplate, stamped K1798 DFDB

CONDITION REPORT
With pendulum and key, both replacements.
The enamel dial is in good condition. The clock is ticking and works. It likely had a silk suspension which has been replaced with a steel suspension. The case is in good condition, some carcass movement and resultant crack lines in the leather veneer to each side. Some loss and colouring-in to the right side by the III of the dial. The dial, bezel and movement may be later. There are some spare holes visible upon removing the dial mount from teh case.
