The plain moulded case with twin baluster turned handle, above a large rectangular glazed panel showing the escapement and movement, the gilt finely engine-turned dial with pierced blued steel hands, above an aperture for the alarm and two subsidiaries below for day and date, the twin train movement with skeletonised lever escapement, striking the hour and half on a steel coiled gong, with push repeat and the hour on a bell in the base

The clock is ticking and strikes the hours and half hours.  The push repeat is stuck and needs attention.
