Exceptionally bright original blue decorated cloth gilt designed by Althea Gyles, uncut. Provenance: unidentified child's letter ("... We went to Peter Pan yesterday ...") loosely-inserted. A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION, first impression, with "Lawrence and Bullen" at the foot of the spine. Symons p.8; Wade 21. The book was issued without a dust-jacket.
