The Whole forming a slight Souvenir of the Season 1845-6. London: Published by Rudolph Ackermann, 1846. Large 8vo (243 x 150mm). Hand-coloured aquatint frontispiece, additional hand-coloured title and 5 hand-coloured plates by J. Harris after Henry Alken, wood-engraved historiated initials and illustrations, 4-pages of publisher's advertisements at the end (some very light mainly marginal spotting and staining). FINELY BOUND in full green crushed morocco gilt by Sangorski & Sutcliffe with sporting motifs in the corners of the covers and in the compartments of the spine, gilt edges, dentelles, original green cloth wrappers gilt bound in at the end. Provenance: The Property of the late Frank Graham (1913-2006, modern bookplate), and thence by descent; R. D. Steedman, Newcastle-upon-Tyne (small bookseller's label). FIRST EDITION.
