Original turquoise cloth, the spine lettered in gilt, the dust-jacket designed by Vanessa Bell (small pieces torn away from upper edge of jacket without loss of letters, some light staining at edges). A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST EDITION of the author's penultimate novel, and the last published in her lifetime. "This new novel by Mrs. Woolf is one of the longest written by her.
