RARE AUTHOR'S PROOF COPY, with numerous corrections in red and blue ink in Buchan's hand to almost every page, and with his initials in red on the upper cover label. cf. With a FIRST EDITION of the same work, with Buchan's corrections present (green cloth, stained, lacking dust-jacket); and the same author's The Thirty-Nine Steps ...
