Half title, coloured frontispiece, illustration on title, and 26 full-page coloured illustrations by Beatrix Potter (one illustration detached, some minor red staining to lower edges, slightly more pronounced to endpapers). Original red pictorial paper boards lettered in white with coloured pictorial label by Beatrix Potter on the upper cover, pictorial endpapers (about 1cm torn away from head of spine without loss of letters and about 3cm torn away from foot of spine with loss of half of the letter 'i' and the remainder of the word 'Fisher', some very light rubbing and scuffing).
