Attractively bound in contemporary green half morocco gilt (rubbed). Provenance: S. D. Titmas, Charterhouse 1874 (signatures on front free endpapers). Samuel David Titmas (1848-94), who taught science at Charterhouse, was also an Anglican clergyman and a Fellow of the Linnaean Society. cf. Norman 1398; PMM 344: "...
