A Chamberlain Worcester armorial blue-ground cup and saucer, circa 1815, each painted with a knight on horseback beneath a coronet and above the motto, `Deo Juvante', against a deep blue ground gilt with chinoiserie landscapes, puce script mark, cup 7cm. high, (2).
Cup has a filled in chip to the rim, approx. 0.5 cm. square which extends into a haircrack approx. 1cm. length. Some wear to the gilding . Saucer with some overall crazing to the glaze.
