Provenance: Apparently this short sword was acquired by Bill Carrington 'Catsprey', of whilst serving in the Royal Navy during a Far East duty in 1945. It was gifted to Dr. David Williams in 1999. 

All parts moving freely, not decommissioned, obselete ammunition.

Condition report: The scabbard with a dented surface - with holes and some seam splits to the tip. The blade with wear, polished and worn. Mark to the top of the blade. See photos.

Condition report: Patination is rubbed. The odd spot of verde gris. The quality of the casting indicates that this cast dates more towards the second half of the 20th Century and not 19th Century. 

Condition: 1 Corner detached but present on marble plinth. Otherwise good condition. quite dirty, would benefit from a clean.
