Modelled as a seated cherub, with rocaille base and scrolling acanthus arms, stamped to the underside, 'Thomas Messenger & Sons, Regent St. No.8', 29cm high
Thomas Messenger and Sons were primarily lighting manufacturers with a metal foundry in Birmingham, opening a branch in London in 1826.
