Comprising; a George II hinge lidded cartouche shaped box, gilt within, the cover mounted with a varicoloured brown agate panel, within a floral and scrolling surround, initial and monogram engraved, London probably 1738, length 6cm and a silver gilt mounted oval hinge lidded box, mounted with a bloodstone panel to the lid, probably Edinburgh 1901, length 8cm

Condition Report;  Agate box; interior gilding slightly weak, hallmarks fairly good, slightly lacking in definition probably as a result of gilding, hinge is a little stiff, monogram engraved to the front, initials to underside, but overall in good condition.

Bloodstone box; gilding good within, bloodstone panel in good condition, hinge good, exterior gilding a little weak as a result of polishing, hallmark good
