Condition report:
Numerous and various losses and frayed thread. The losses mostly clustered around the upper left side, please see extra images. Some later wool patch repairs.
More than likely the tapestry fragment has been cut down with a later border and backed. The top edge with Velcro applied to the back and then mounted on to a pine rail for hanging.
Some variation in colour, fading, dust and dirt.
