Structurally the joints are loose, particularly to both scroll ends which require restoration.
A repaired break to the front seat rail, reinforced from behind with an additional section of timber bracing the weak area.
Various losses, chips, abrasions and scuffs commensurate with age and use, notably chips and losses to the feet, front and back.
Tarnishing, discolouration and dirt to the decorative scheme overall. Many areas of the gilding and ebonised areas are chipped and worn, notably to the arms and front legs.
Various areas with worm holes.
The upholstery dirty and worn, again notably to the arms. The loose seat with tears to cover.
