The approx 15 inch globe with makers label detailed 'Newton's New & Improved Terrestrial Globe accurately delineated from the observations of the most esteemed navigators & travellers to the present time Manufactured by J & W Newton 66 Chancery Lane' with a brass horizon ring, mounted on a mahogany stand, the x-frame base fitted with a glazed compass also detailed 'W.Newton', overall height approx 104cm
