Condition Report: The mug would originally have been gilded. This only very faintly remains, in parts. The marks to the underside are poorly struck in part. The feet are very slightly pushed in. There are two or three dents around the bottom of the mug. The top rim has a few nicks. The handle is in good condition. There is some slight wear to the niello work. Gross weight 72gms. The tot - marks underneath are generally struck off centre and are hard to read. The band of gems is probably a later addition, the green glass beads are drilled and have air bubbles present and would probably have originally been strung to a necklace. The mountings are unevenly spaced. The pearls are offered as cultured, some are showing signs of wear. The spherical feet look a little too large for the size of the body. 36.5gms.
