Condition Report: The vase was probably gilded originally, or at least parcel gilt, this is now largely missing. The niello is in good condition. There are no serious dents, There are a few solder spots at the top of the octagonal section of stem. The bottom of this section has some scratch marks suggesting that something by way of alteration or repair, may have happened in the past.
