Condition report:

Good overall decorative condition.

The grey fossil marble top in good condition with a few minor nicks to the moulded edge and roughly finished back edge.

Some elements look to have some age but have cleaned and restored - such as parts of  the pine and beech carcass. The pine back boards with old worm and an additional horizontal section of timber to the base. The back feet have some age  and re-tipped with old worm hole damage to areas above. Drawer fronts cleaned off and various more recent internal rails and modern drawer linings.

The exterior is highly finished; veneers highly varnished and polished. Various small shrinkage cracks to the veneers areas, notably to the  shaped convex areas where there is likely to movement and stress. A few dents where the handle mounts have dinged the veneers.

Minor, odd dents/marks to some of the brass inlaid horizontal moulding.

One key.

The stamps are later.

This piece seems to be probably late 20th century and incorporating some earlier elements.
