Condition report
The canvas is lined.
Craquelure.
A few small white marks lower left quarter, appear as if something has spattered or being spilled near the painting.
Diagonal line visible crossing near top of left mast.
Some craquelure.
Dirt.
A few pale vertical lines visible lower centre in sea near bottom edge.
Some pale patches, discoloured areas in sky, especially around mast.

Inspection under uv light reveals various patches of retouching, including the aforementioned patches around the mast, as well as other areas in the sky and sea.
It also reveals a diagonal line lower left corner, probably an old repair and associated retouching.
