Discoloured varnish.
Surface and ingrained dirt.
Paint lifting in a horizontal line along extreme upper edge, just below frame recess, this could be part of the original canvas lifting off the lining.
Small brown spot upper left in cloud.
Other small spots and marks visible.
Craquelure visible in places, including to centre right, where there appears to also be an abrasion.
Inspection under uv light reveals a small patch of infilling to paint separation to centre right and flecks of retouching lower left quarter.
An opaque varnish prevents further reading.
