Condition Report
The canvas has been relined. There is a patch to the canvas, upper left, around the figure's left shoulder, visible on close inspection. Ultraviolet reveals retouching to a repaired tear corresponding with the patch, upper left; some flecks of infilling to the sitters head and legs and a few further spots in the foreground. Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
