Condition Report
Original canvas. Paint surface has light surface dirt, flecks of staining near the figure's feet, lower right, otherwise sound. Light vertical stretcher marks to centre of canvas. Ultraviolet reveals a few retouching to frame abrasions on each border but no further signs of retouching. Held in a plaster gilt frame with a few losses to the gilt.
