Condition report
Original canvas. Areas of paint separation, particularly upper left and craquelure throughout; scattered flecks of paint loss and some surface dirt. Ultraviolet light reveals no sign of retouching but surface suggests retouching the face. We estimate the agreement of the work as circa 1800.
