With a floral and foliate pierced and engraved hinged grille, engraved within the lid P.E.B. Wells. 12th September 1877, the exterior engine turned and crest and motto engraved to the top within an oval cartouche, European second half of the 19th century, possibly converted from a snuff box, later fitted with a suspension loop to one end, size 5.7cm x 2.5cm, weight 31.2 grams
