A 19TH CENTURY BLACK OPAL AND DIAMOND RING

With a principal black opal in a four claw setting, with a halo of old mine cut diamonds and three further diamonds on each shoulder, the ring with ornate engraving around the head and down the band, in unmarked yellow gold, weight 13.8 grams, ring size S 1/2.

CONDITION REPORT 

Overall good condition, the band has been resized/altered at some point causing the engraving to be lost, the opal displays significant crazing.

The opal measures 13.2 x10.5 x 3 mm
