Condition Report
Overall in good condition, the hallmarks are clear, the scratching underneath is evidence of original testing when sent for assay. There are a few old surface marks commensurate with age. It is possible that the engraved decoration to the border and to the surround of the shield and crest is of later mid 19th century date.
